    The Effective Management of Plagiarism Workshop
    Goodenough College, Mecklenburgh Square, London – Thursday 8 June 2006
    In this Workshop a number of areas will be explored to illustrate the way that Plagiarism has entered and distorts the process of assessment in postgraduate education – from taught Masters to the doctorate. Computer methods for detecting plagiarism will be demonstrated on a range of typical sample texts. Best practice will be shared by presenters and delegates in the effective management of Plagiarism at Institutional level. These themes will be illustrated by a number of case studies from various contexts.
    The workshop is aimed at all concerned with the management and development of PG research students, RAs and Post-Doctoral researchers, including: Graduate Deans, PG Research Supervisors, Post-Doctoral researchers, PG Research Administrators, Research Managers and Staff Development personnel.
